Bio:

The newly repaired viewing screen in New York’s Time Square was playing state run evening news as the broken and cautious citizens shuffled hopelessly thru the space once occupied by Avengers Tower. It had rained all morning and afternoon that Friday in may which was exactly what the state run weather report had called for. Liquidator chuckled to himself how a definitive upside to the alien occupation had been how accurate weather forcasting had become.
As he slinked up a flooding downspout of the burned out hulk of the Avengers Tower that was allowed to remain as a warning to any group which would consider opposing the newly installed alien regent. Liquidator felt like he was returning home again. The tower remained vaguely familar as it had formerly been Stark Tower. The Liquidator, then Robert Flud, had worked at Stark as an advertising and voice over consultant. It had mostly been freelance work and as it turns out that was as much a stroke of luck as having the oppertunity to become familiar with this installation in the first place. Seems the aliens considered former Stark employees such a threat they were either summarily executed or offered jobs working for the occupation. Liquidator had been back to the tower several times over the past few months requisitioning supplies from the tower. That was how he planned tonight’s little public service announcement. As Liquidator made his way thru the maze of burned out hallways and ventilation systems he slowed to a stop outside a familar high security door still hanging off the hinges as he remembered it. Liquidator had avoided this part of the tower even after having returned here multiple times. This room was where Liquidator had been created even if it had been by accident. The memories flooded back so vividly the Liquidator thought it must be a psionic attack…

When the attack began Flud had been working at the newly chrisined Avengers Tower. The moments following the initial bombardment were a blur but somehow Robert Flud kept his wits about him, not knowing the scope of the diaster Flud used the chaos to “borrow” a few items. This included one of the crown jewels, a mark II arch reactor. Though it was considered obsolete by Stark industries and scheduled for incineration that little gem would fetch a high price on whatever black market Flud ended up dealing on. His prize in hand he charged towards the stairs discovering that the fire raging outside had made it into the lower floors, the only way was up. Two floors later Flud was in the high security Arch research room which housed the prototype for Namor’s Atlantean arch reactor, a reactor specially designed to function completed submerged and augment Atlantis’ already formidable power grid. The fire continued to storm through the building dispite the fire supression systems running in full effect. Robert didn’t see any other options and climbed into the reactor tank to avoid burning alive. In the panic between the inferno above and the rising turbulence he had created diving into the tank he realized he still held the Mark II reactor in his hand. Perhaps it was the proximity of the two arch reactors to one another or some distance explosion rocking the compound or perhaps it was simply fate but something brought the untested reactor suddenly to life. Flud tried climbing out dropping the Mark II as he did to the bottom of the tank. He watched as electrical and pressure wave seemed to resonate between both devices. The rate of resonance kept increasing, and increasing. It was too late. The Atlantean reactor reached peak output moments later and the next thing Flud knew he felt his consciousness dissolving in the water. The reactor resonance had the unintended consequence of accelerating every molecule in Liquidator’s body and somehow altering him into his current form…

Enough reminiscing Liquidator thought. Time to get to business. The other members of the little resistance group Liquidator had fallen in with were laying odds on whether he’d pull off this stunt tonight. Pouring his was back to his old office on the eleventh floor and as he gushed under a locked door he saw it, the old Stark broadcasting booth. It was in relatively good shape considering the pounding Avenger Tower had taken durning the assult and it appeared to have just enough juice left to pull off one more transmission. Liquidator shuffled across the control panel being careful not to short out anything with his watery hands until all the setting were correct. Liquidator thought every screen within roughly 500 miles should accept the over ride sequence he acquired. He raised one finger in the air and said aloud to himself; “And now a word from our sponser!” as he pressed the green transmit button. Moments later the image of a man wearing a tan colored trench coat and large derby hat that obscured his entire face interrupted the nightly news anchor mid-sentence.

“Have the troubles of occupying a primative backwater planet got you down? Has the joy gone out of subordinating the populous under your technogical lash? Well for all our alien overlords relief is finally on the way! Now available for a limited time the LIQUIDATOR! Yes the Liquidator can do it all! Whether you’d like to be drowned in your sleep five hundred feet above sea level! Or have your alien endoskeleton crushed into a fine powder by the water feature in your common area! The Liquidator can do all this and more! Its the perfect space saver for those crowded interstellar flights home. Be the first of your comrads to tell the Star-Khan directorate “I won’t be reporting for duty today i’m calling in dead!” Operators at 911 are standing by so make peace with your god and shuffle off that mortal coil today!" BZZZZZZZRRRT

and with that the news resumed. “Time to go!” Liquidator said as he was heading for some open ductwork when without warning somewhere between the 6th and 2nd floors he felt a shock surround him and blacked out. In his fading consciousness he saw multiple alien shock troops racing towards him. It was astonishing, there prompt response time. It must have been a trap. They must have traced the unincripted signal back to its source in the tower and in the moment before everything went black Liquidator thought, “They got lucky…”
